Most clear rulers catch the glare of a desk lamp just as you lean in to read them. This one is finished with a soft frosted surface — light settles into it rather than bouncing off, so the markings stay legible at any angle, on any desk.

The frosted band is still translucent enough to show the line beneath, letting it double as a reading guide across documents and ledgers. And the scale begins exactly at the edge of the ruler: stand it upright against a box, a shelf, a stack of paper, and measure heights and depths that ordinary rulers leave to guesswork.
