mizushima IROIRO Letter Set
Letters made from the offcuts of other designs.
Over the years, Tokyo stationery brand mizushima has drawn countless patterns and graphics. For the IROIRO series, they returned to that archive with a pair of scissors: fragments of past designs, cut at random, become new sheets of writing paper. An unexpected crop here, a strange and lovely margin there — old graphics, meeting the paper's edge for the first time, look suddenly new.
Each set gathers six sheets in six different patterns, with three envelopes in quiet, complementary tones. The patterns arrive assorted, so exactly which fragments you receive stays a small surprise until the band comes off. The Pastel edition keeps every colour soft and pale — gentle enough that your handwriting always comes first.
Six letters' worth of paper, no two alike. Match a sheet to a mood, an envelope to a person, and let the combination be part of the message.
